After a distinguished seven-year tenure with a “Big Eight” accounting firm, Dave, alongside his father, co-founded Lyons & Lyons, PC, a Certified Public Accounting firm boasting offices in Ridgefield and Fairfield, Connecticut. With over four decades of public accounting expertise, Dave not only served as a tenured professor at Iona College, imparting knowledge in accounting and taxation classes but also established himself as a stalwart in the field.
Dave’s extensive experience encompasses tax planning and compliance services, extending to individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. He takes pride in being a reliable and experienced advisor to his clients, offering comprehensive assistance with all their pertinent financial matters. Dave expressed his enthusiasm for the 2023 merger of Lyons and Lyons with Trivium Point, “As we combine our strengths with Trivium, we embark on a new chapter with even greater potential to serve our clients. Currently holding positions on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield and The Ridgefield Playhouse, Dave also serves as an incorporator of Fairfield County Bank. His commitment to community service aligns seamlessly with his professional achievements.
Dave earned his MBA in taxation from Iona College, complemented by a BS in accounting from Boston College. Throughout the past four decades, Dave and his wife Kathy have not only resided in Ridgefield, Connecticut, but also played an active role in raising their two children, contributing to the vibrant community they call home.
