Joana discovered her passion for accounting at the age of 20 while interning at a family-owned accounting firm in Norwalk. Joana quickly grew into a role as head bookkeeper and gained hands on experience managing day-today financial operations.

She went on to work as a bookkeeper for a research company in Stamford, overseeing daily transactions, payroll, and financial reporting. Later, Joana earned her Associates degree in Accounting from Norwalk Community College and continued her career at a tax firm in Greenwich where she worked closely with a CPA and worked as a Senior Tax Preparer.

With experience across bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation, Joana brings a well-rounded and detail driven approach to accounting. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the gym, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her two dogs.
